During the 8-week comprehensive internship, you will
Gain exposure to working life and put theories learnt from university into practice
Familiarize yourself with the working culture of an engineering consulting firm
Receive practical experience through collaboration with our staff on various projects
Develop specific knowledge and skills sets required by the engineering industry
Responsibilities
With the knowledge you have gained
from your studies, you will be involved in a variety of tasks as detailed by
the Project Manager and working as part of a team. i.e.
Assist
the preparation of statutory submission
Assist
the preparation of design drawings for presentation/construction
Assist
the inspection/improvement/analysis reports
Review existing documents structure and
procedures
About You
What you’ll need
You’ll
be graduating in 202x+1 with a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in any
Engineering discipline (Those graduating after 202x+1 may also be
considered)
You’ll
be available during the 202x summer break (any 8 consecutive weeks in June-August)
You’ll
be passionate with the curiosity and creativity to solve problems
You’ll
want to stretch and inspire us, speaking up about any new ideas you have
You’ll
want to throw yourself in from day one and put your studies into practice
You’ll
know it is important to keep everyone in the loop and will demonstrate
this through excellent communication skills
You’ll
enjoy working in a team environment, sharing ideas and collaborating with
colleagues
You’ll
have confidence to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
